Georg Jensen Silver JewelleryGeorg Jensen (1866-1935) was known as one of the most talented Danish Silversmith’s. A combination of Jensen maturing during the Arts and Crafts period and the inspiration his of natural environment resulted in works that were great celebrations of nature.
Flatware and Hollow ware are also much sought after with people eager to attain a cutlery service in the Acorn, Cactus or Blossom patterns. During the fifties and sixties artists such as Henning Koppel and Nanna Ditzel produced elegant yet modernist designs. Jensen is still producing items today that are in keeping with the themes of the past. Items are now stamped with the year they were made and are easy to decipher from older pieces.
